2012 DA14 adalah astroid dekat Bumi dengan diameter sebesar 50m dan massa sebesar 190.000 ton metrik.[4] Asteroid ini ditemukan pada 23 Februari 2012 oleh Observatorio Astronómico de La Sagra di Granada, Spanyol,[1] tujuh hari setelah melewati Bumi dari jarak 0,0174 SA (2.600.000 km; 1.620.000 mi).[3] Berdasarkan perhitungan, pada 15 Februari 2013, jarak antara asteroid ini dengan Bumi adalah 0,0002276 SA (34.050 km; 21.160 mi).[3] Asteroid ini melewati Bumi dari jarak 27.700 kilometer.[2] Ini merupakan rekor untuk objek dengan ukuran seperti asteroid ini.[2]
