4587 Rees


4587 Rees adalah planet kecil yang ditemukan pada tanggal 30 September 1973 di Observatorium Palomar oleh C. J. van Houten, I. van Houten-Groeneveld dan T. Gehrels.[1] Designasi provisional yang diberikan kepada 4587 Rees adalah 3239 T-2. Planet ini memiliki periode rotasi sebesar 7.7886 jam.[2] 4587 Rees dinamai untuk menghormati Sir Martin Rees. Penamaan nama planet ini dari Martin Rees diusulkan oleh Jan Hendrik Oort.[3]
