Adana

Adana (pengucapan [aˈda.na]) merupakan kota terbesar keempat Turki. Penduduknya berjumlah 1.271.894 jiwa (2006). Kota ini terletak pada ketinggian 23 meter. Kota ini merupakan ibu kota Provinsi Adana.

Adana terletak di pusat area Kilikia, yang pernah menjadi salah satu kawasan terpenting di dunia klasik.[3][4] Kilikia merupakan rumah bagi enam juta orang, merupakan kawasan pertanian penting karena dataran Çukurova yang subur dan luas.
