Adoramus Te

Adoramus Te adalah bait yang dibacakan / dinyanyikan umumnya selama Jalan Salib dalam tradisi Katolik. Adoramus Te juga masih dipertahankan dalam beberapa tradisi pengakuan Gereja Anglikan dan Lutheran selama liturgi Jumat Agung. Adoramus Te dibacakan atau dinyanyikan antara perhentian. Kata-kata asli dalam bahasa Latin dan terjemahan bebasnya dalam bahasa Indonesia adalah sebagai berikut:

Bahasa Latin

Adoramus te, Christe,
et benedicimus tibi,
quia per sanctam crucem tuam
redemisti mundum.
Qui passus es pro nobis,
Domine, Domine, miserere nobis.

Bahasa Indonesia

Kami menyembah-Mu, ya Kristus,
dan kami memuji Engkau,
karena Salib Suci-Mu
telah menebus dunia.
Yang menderita sengsara bagi kami,
ya Tuhan, ya Tuhan,
kasihanilah kami.
