Markuu Ulla Aleksi Laiho yang dikenal dengan nama Alexi Laiho (8 April 1979 – 29 Desember 2020) adalah vokalis dan gitaris band Children of Bodom. Selain bermusik bersama Children of Bodom, ia juga merupakan anggota band Sinergy (2001-) dan Kylähullut (2004-). Pada tahun 2008, majalah Guitar World menempatkannya sebagai salah satu dari 50 gitaris tercepat di dunia.[2]

Alexi mempelajari biola pada usia 11 tahun, kemudian tertarik memainkan gitar sejak mendengarkan Helloween, lalu tertarik dengan gaya musik ekstrem (utamanya Black metal) dan ketertarikannya dengan musik-musik seperti Manowar, Judas Priest dan W.A.S.P.[3]
