Amos Oz (Ibrani: עמוס עוז; nama lahir Amos Klausner; 4 Mei 1939 – 28 Desember 2018) adalah seorang penulis, novelis, jurnalis dan intelektual asal Israel. Ia juga merupakan profesor sastra di Universitas Ben-Gurion, Beersheba. Selama masa hidupnya ia dianggap sebagai pengarang Israel paling terkenal.[1]
Karya Oz telah diterbitkan dalam 45 bahasa di 47 negara, dan telah menerima banyak penghargaan, di antaranya Légion d'honneur dari Prancis, Penghargaan Goethe, Penghargaan Pangeran Asturias dalam bidang Sastra, Penghargaan Heinrich Heine dan Penghargaan Israel. Mulai tahun 1967, Oz adalah salah satu pendukung utama solusi dua negara mengenai konflik Israel–Palestina.[2] Oz meninggal dunia karena kanker pada 28 Desember 2018 dalam usia 79 tahun.[2]
