Amplitude Studios merupakan perusahaan pengembang permainan video asal Prancis yang berlokasi di Paris. Studio ini didirikan pada Januari 2011 oleh Romain de Waubert de Genlis dan Mathieu Girard, dan telah diakuisisi oleh Sega pada Juni 2016. Saat ini Amplitude Studios telah menjadi bagian dari Sega West, yang terdiri dari beberapa perusahaan pengembang seperti Creative Assembly, Sport Interactive, dan Relic Entertainment.

Deskripsi

Fokus utama yang diselesaikan Amplitude Studios ialah proyek-proyek pengembangan permainan video yang dimainkan lewat komputer pribadi (PC), penggunaan program Early Access Steam, dan juga Games2Gether, serta platform voting dan crowd-sourcing.[1][2][3][4]

Pada Juli 2016, Amplitude Studios diakuisisi oleh Sega untuk memperluas jangkauan pasar mereka di sektor permainan video komputer.[5] Girard dan de Waubert de Genlis sendiri menyetujui kesepakatan dengan Sega tersebut dengan alasan untuk mengejar peluang bekerja bersama studio milik Sega lainnya, seperti Creative Assembly dan Relic Entertainment.[6]

Penghargaan
