Dr. Aref Ali Nayed ( Bahasa Arab : عارف علي النايض , romanisasi : ʿArif ʿAli al-Nayid ; lahir 1962) adalah seorang ulama Islam Libya dan mantan Duta Besar Libya untuk Uni Emirat Arab.[1] Nayed adalah pendiri dan direktur Kalam Research & Media (KRM), yang berpusat di Tripoli, Libya dan Dubai . Hingga pecahnya revolusi di Libya, ia mengajar teologi, logika, dan spiritualitas Islam di Madrasah Uthman Pasha yang telah dipugar di Tripoli, dan membimbing mahasiswa pascasarjana di Islamic Call College di sana. Sebelum pembebasan Tripoli pada tahun 2011, ia ditunjuk oleh Dewan Transisi Nasional sebagai koordinator Satgas Tripoli. Ketika Tripoli dibebaskan pada akhir Agustus 2011, kewenangannya diperluas dan ia diangkat menjadi koordinator utama Tim Stabilisasi Libya. Pada awal tahun ini, ia menjadi koordinator Kantor Dukungan Tim Eksekutif Dewan Transisi Nasional (NTC) Libya. Ia juga menjabat sebagai sekretaris Jaringan Ulama Bebas – Libya .
