Atlanta 500 Classic adalah acara balap mobil Indy Racing League yang diadakan di Atlanta Motor Speedway dari tahun 1998 hingga 2001.
Balapan USAC dan CART sebelumnya telah diadakan di trek yang berasal dari tahun 1965. Balapan Kejuaraan Nasional pertama di Atlanta diadakan di Atlanta Motordrome, sebuah oval tanah 2 mil (3,2 km), pada tahun 1910. Kemudian balapan AAA dan USAC diadakan di Lakewood Speedway, sebuah trek oval tanah di Atlanta.
