Autopsi
Autopsi atau bedah mayat[1] adalah penyidikan medis jenazah untuk memeriksa sebab kematian. Kata "autopsi" berasal dari bahasa Yunani yang berarti "lihat dengan mata sendiri" dan kata "nekropsi" yang juga berasal dari bahasa Yunani artinya "melihat mayat".
Ada 2 jenis autopsi:
- Forensik: Ini dilakukan untuk tujuan medis legal dan yang banyak dilihat dalam televisi atau berita.
- Klinis: Cara ini biasanya dilakukan di rumah sakit untuk menentukan penyebab kematian untuk tujuan penelitian dan pelajaran.
