BMC Ecology and Evolution (sejak Januari 2021), sebelumnya bernama BMC Evolutionary Biology (2001–2020), adalah sebuah jurnal ilmiah akses terbuka mitra bestari yang mencakup seluruh bidang biologi evolusioner, termasuk filogenetik dan paleontologi. Jurnal ini didirikan pada tahun 2001 dan merupakan bagian dari seri jurnal BMC yang diterbitkan oleh BioMed Central. Jurnal ini merupakan salah satu jurnal awal yang berintegrasi dengan Repositori Digital Dryad untuk berbagi data tambahan,[1] dan juga menyelenggarakan kompetisi gambar tahunan untuk membantu mengabadikan keragaman flora dan fauna di planet ini.[2]
