Badak sumatra utara (Dicerorhinus sumatrensis lasiotis) adalah subspesies badak sumatra yang telah punah. Badak sumatra utara hidup di hutan hujan dan gunung. Sebelumnya mereka ada di India dan Bangladesh, tetapi mereka dikonfirmasi telah punah di daerah itu. Terdapat kemungkinan bahwa masih terdapat populasi kecil badak Sumatera Utara di Myanmar. Kepunahan badak ini diakibatkan oleh penghancuran hutan hujan, perburuan ilegal badak untuk diambil culanya, dan memburu mereka untuk olahraga.
