Bakerella adalah genus yang terdiri dari enam belas spesies benalu yang mencolok di Madagaskar dan Mascarene. Genus ini dideskripsikan pada tahun 1964 oleh botanis Belgia Simone Balle dalam Flora de Madagascar.[1] Di Madagaskar, Bakerella dapat menjadi sumber makanan penting bagi lemur.[2]
