Bakteremia (juga bakteraemia) adalah keberadaan bakteria dalam darah. Darah biasanya adalah lingkungan steril,[1] sehingga deteksi bakteria dalam darah (umumnya disertai oleh kultur darah[2]) biasanya bersifat abnormal. Ini berbeda dari sepsis, yang merupakan respon tuan rumah terhadap bakteria.[3]
