Bank ASI
Bank ASI adalah sebuah layanan yang mengumpulkan, meneliti, mengolah dan menyumbangkan ASI yang yang disumbangkan oleh ibu susu yang tak secara biologis memiliki hubungan dengan bayi penerima. Nutrisi optimum bagi bayi yang baru lahir adalah penyusuan, jika memungkinan, selama tahun pertama.[1] Bank ASI menawarkan solusi untuk para ibu yang tak dapat memberikan ASI mereka sendiri kepada anak mereka, karena alasan-alasan seperti bayi berisiko terkena penyakit dan infeksi dari ibu dengan penyakit tertentu.[2]
