Baraolt (pengucapan bahasa Rumania: [baraˈolt]; bahasa Hungaria: Barót, pengucapan bahasa Hungaria: ['bɒroːt] ( simak)) adalah kota dan distrik administratif yang terletak di County Covasna, Rumania. Kota ini terletak di Tanah Székely, yaitu wilayah etno-budaya di Transilvania timur. Kota ini pertama kali disebut sebagai sebuah permukiman pada tahun 1224. Secara administratif, di kota ini terdapat lima desa:

  • Biborțeni / Bibarcfalva
  • Bodoș / Bodos
  • Căpeni / Köpec
  • Micloșoara / Miklósvár
  • Racoșul de Sus / Felsőrákos

Demografi

Menurut sensus tahun 2011, di kota Baraolt terdapat 8.567 penduduk, yang mayoritas beretnis Hungaria (96% atau 8.213 penduduk), sementara hanya terdapat 237 (3%) orang Rumania, 100 orang Rom, dan 15 dari etnis lain.[1] Sekitar 47,9% penduduk kota ini menganut agama Gereja Reformasi Hungaria, sementara 29,9% beragama Katolik Roma, 16,8% beragama Unitarian, dan 2,6 menganut Ortodoks Rumania.
