Bayi jangkar
Bayi jangkar adalah sebuah istilah—yang dianggap oleh beberapa orang sebagai ejekan[1][2]—yang merujuk kepada seorang anak yang lahir dari orangtua non-warga negara di sebuah negara yang memiliki kewarganegaraan hak lahir, yang sehingga akan membantu orangtua dan anggota keluarga lainnya menerima kewarganegaraan atau tinggal tetap secara sah[3] dan/atau menghindari deportasi di negara yang disebutkan. Di AS, istilah tersebut umum dipakai sebagai rujukan ejekan untuk peran mendadak anak, yangs ecara otomatis terkualifikasi sebagai warga negara Amerika Serikat di bawah istilah jus soli dan hak yang dipandu dalam Amandemen Keempat Belas dari Konstitusi Amerika Serikat.[4][5][6] Istilah tersebut juga seringkali dipakai dalam konteks debat atas imigrasi ilegal ke Amerika Serikat.[7] Sebuah istilah serupa, "bayi paspor", telah dipakai di Kanada bagi anak-anak yang lahir melalui "maternitas" atau "pariwisata kelahiran".[8][9]
