William Clarence Eckstine (8 Juli 1914 – 8 Maret 1993)[1] adalah seorang penyanyi jazz dan pop Amerika dan pemimpin band selama era ayunan. Dia terkenal karena suara bass-baritonnya yang kaya dan hampir seperti opera.[2] Rekamannya tentang "I Apologize" (MGM, 1948) diberi Grammy Hall of Fame Award pada tahun 1999. The New York Times menggambarkannya sebagai "pemimpin band berpengaruh" yang "ramah tamah bass-bariton" dan "pendekatan penuh gula, pendekatan manis untuk lagu-lagu populer yang menginspirasi penyanyi seperti Earl Coleman, Johnny Hartman, Joe Williams, Arthur Prysock dan Lou Rawls."[3]
