BlueMotion adalah merek dagang untuk beberapa model mobil Grup Volkswagen yang mempunyai efisiensi bahan bakar sangat baik.[1][2]

Volkswagen mulai memakai nama ini pada Polo Mk4 BlueMotion tahun 2006,[2][3] dan Passat keluaran 2007. Belakangan ini, teknologi BlueMotion juga telah diterapkan pada beberapa model SEAT seperti SEAT Ibiza atau SEAT León dengan nama 'EcoMotive,[4] dan beberapa model Škoda seperti Fabia dan Superb dengan nama "GreenLine". Versi BlueMotion dari Golf Mk5 dan Touran diluncurkan pada tahun 2008. Nama ini diambil dari warna grup Volkswagen, biru (blue) dan kata 'motion' yang berarti mobilitas.[2] Kata ini juga mengacu dari teknologi BlueTec milik DaimlerChrysler yang mesin-mesinnya dilengkapi dengan teknologi pengurang emisi NOx untuk mesin diesel.
