Bored Ape

Bored Ape Yacht Club atau sering disingkat menjadi BAYC, atau singkatnya Bored Ape saja, adalah karya NFT yang dibangun di atas rantai blok Ethereum dalam bentuk berbagai kartun kera yang dibangun lewat algoritma tertentu.[1] Perusahaan induk dari BAYC adalah Yuga Labs. Proyek ini diluncurkan pada tanggal 23 April 2021. NFT ini menjadi menarik karena pemiliknya akan mendapat akses eksklusif ke klub daring pribadi, event personal, dan hak milik intelektual dari gambar tersebut.[2]

Pada tahun 2022, total penjualan BAYC mencapai US$1 Triliun. Banyak selebritas telah membeli NFT ini, termasuk Justin Bieber, Jimmy Fallon, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Madonna, Neymar, Paris Hilton, Timbaland, hingga Steve Aoki.[3][4]
