Biografi

Shaposhnikov, yang lahir di Zlatoust, dekat Chelyabinsk di pegunungan Ural, memiliki darah Kazaki Orenburg.^[1] Ia masuk Angkatan Darat Kekaisaran Rusia pada 1901.
