Born to Defence (Hanzi: 中華英雄) adalah film Hong Kong tahun 1988 yang dipasarkan sebagai debut penyutradaraan dari Jet Li, yang juga membintangi film ini. Film ini juga menampilkan koreografi pertarungan oleh Tsui Siu-Ming. Film ini berlatar di Tiongkok setelah berakhirnya Perang Dunia II dan pembebasan Tiongkok. Li berperan sebagai seorang atlet yang gemar berkonflik dengan pelaut angkatan laut Amerika, terutama di ring tinju. Film ini sukses di Tiongkok, menjadi film terlaris kedua tahun itu.
