Brahmagupta (Sanskerta: ब्रह्मगुप्त; ⓘ) (lahir kira-kira tahun 598, meninggal setelah tahun 665) adalah seorang matematikawan dan astronom India.
Dia adalah penulis dari dua karya awal dalam matematika dan astronomi: Brāhmasphuṭasiddhānta (BSS, "doktrin yang secara benar didirikan dari Brahma", dari tahun 628), sebuah risalah teoretis, dan Khaṇḍakhādyaka ("edible bite", dari tahun 665), teks yang lebih praktis. Menurut komentatornya, Brahmagupta adalah penduduk asli Bhinmal.
Brahmagupta adalah yang pertama yang memberi aturan untuk menghitung dengan nol.
