Carolina Reaper, awalnya dinamakan "HP22BNH7", adalah kultivar cabai dalam famili Capsicum chinensis. Berasal dari desa Rock Hill, Carolina Selatan, di rumah kaca oleh seorang pria bernama Ed Currie, yang menjalankan perusahaan lada karpet yang terletak di desa Fort Mill, Carolina Selatan. Cabai ini dinobatkan sebagai cabai terpedas di dunia oleh Guinness World Records sejak 2013 hingga 2023 sebelum dikalahkan oleh cabai Pepper X yang juga dikembangkan oleh Currie.[1] Cabai ini termasuk dalam persilangan jenis Ghost Pepper (mantan pemegang gelar cabai terpedas) dengan jenis Habanero merah.[2] Tingkat kepedasan rata-rata cabai ini adalah 1.539.300 derajat pada skala Scoville (SHU), dan kadang-kadang bisa mencapai lebih dari 2.200.000 derajat pada skala Scoville.
