Charaka adalah salah satu kontributor utama Ayurweda, sebuah sistem pengobatan dan gaya hidup yang berkembang di India Kuno. Ia dikenal sebagai penyunting risalah pengobatan berjudul Charaka Samhita, salah satu teks fundasional dari pengobatan India klasik dan Ayurweda.
