Chingia adalah marga tumbuhan paku sejati (eupolypods) anggota suku Thelypteridaceae. Kelompok tumbuhan paku ini ditemukan hanya di kawasan Malesia (termasuk Indonesia).[1]
Entalnya umumnya besar namun menyirip tunggal, dengan tepi anak daun rata atau bergerigi. Tangkai ental bersisik besar menyerupai rambut kaku dan banyak menutupi bagian pangkalnya. Chingia biasa dijumpai di pegunungan lembap, tumbuh di tebing pinggir aliran air yang terlindung dari cahaya matahari langsung, bersama-sama dengan paku pohon, resam, dan paku-pakuan kecil lainnya.
