Colchicum (/ˈkɒltʃɪkəm/ or /ˈkɒlkɪkəm/)[2] adalah genus tumbuhan berbunga yang mengandung sekitar 160 spesies tumbuhan yang tumbuh dari umbi berbentuk bonggol. Genus ini merupakan anggota famili Colchicaceae yang berasal dari Asia Barat, Eropa, bagian dari pantai Mediterania, menyusuri pantai Afrika Timur ke Afrika Selatan dan Western Cape. Dalam genus ini ovarium bunganya berada di bawah tanah, akibatnya gaya menjadi sangat panjang dalam proporsi, sering kali lebih dari 10 cm. Semua spesies merupakan tumbuhan beracun.[3]
