Cornaceae adalah sebuah famili kosmopolitan tumbuhan berbunga dalam ordo Cornales. Famili ini mencakup sekitar 85 spesies dalam dua genera,[1] Alangium dan Cornus. Tumbuhan-tumbuhannya sebagian besar berupa pohon dan semak, yang dapat berupa peluruh atau malar hijau, meski beberapa spesies berupa herba menahun. Anggota famili ini umumnya memiliki daun sederhana yang terposisikan berselang-seling atau berkebalikan, bunga empat atau lima bagian yang terkumpul secara majemuk atau dalam pseudanthium, serta memiliki buah berdrupa.[2] Famili ini sebagian besar tersebar di wilayah-wilayah iklim sedang utara dan Asia tropis.[3]
