Daniel Joshua Kash (lahir 25 April 1959)[1] adalah seorang aktor dan sutradara film asal Kanada. Ia dikenal karena penampilannya dalam film-film seperti Aliens, The Hunt for the BTK Killer dan The Path to 9/11, serta dalam serial televisi seperti Law & Order, Orphan Black dan The Expanse.

Kehidupan awal

Kash lahir di Montreal, Quebec, putra dari penyanyi opera asal Kanada, Maureen Forrester dan pemain biola sekaligus konduktor kelahiran Toronto, Eugene Kash (1 Mei 1912 – 6 Maret 2004). Ia adalah saudara dari aktris Linda Kash. Keluarga ayahnya beragama Yahudi, sementara ibunya berpindah agama menjadi Yahudi.[2]

Ia belajar akting di Drama Centre di London, Inggris, dan telah tampil di film dan televisi. Peran film pertamanya adalah sebagai Private Spunkmeyer dalam Aliens (1986).

Kehidupan pribadi

Kash tinggal di Toronto, Ontario dan Los Angeles, California bersama istri dan kedua putra mereka, Kenzie dan Tyson Kash.[3]
