David Farragut

David Glasgow Farragut (Knoxville, Tennessee, 5 Juli 1801 – Portsmouth, New Hampshire, 14 Agustus 1870) adalah seorang perwira Angkatan Laut Amerika Serikat selama Perang Saudara Amerika Serikat. Dia adalah laksamana muda, laksamana madya dan laksamana pertama di Angkatan Laut Amerika Serikat.[1][2] Dia memerintahkan Pasukan Angkatan Laut Serikat pada Pertempuran Teluk Mobile.

David Farragut adalah anak dari George Farragut, perwira Angkatan Laut Amerika Serikat selama Perang Revolusi Amerika Serikat.
