Lani Desmonet "Desi" Lydic[1] (lahir 30 Juni 1981) adalah pelawak dan aktris asal Amerika Serikat yang juga menjadi koresponden The Daily Show with Trevor Noah. Ia juga membintangi konselor pendidikan Valerie Marks di program drama komedi MTV Awkward.[2] She got her start in the 2001 parody film Not Another Teen Movie.[3] Ia juga muncul dalam mini serial Invasion Iowa yang tayang di saluran Spike bersama William Shatner, dan dalam serial parodi The Real Wedding Crashers.[4] Di layar lebar, ia berperan sebagai Shea Seger dalam film We Bought a Zoo (2011) bersama Matt Damon dan Scarlett Johansson, dan pada film The Babymakers (2013) bersama Olivia Munn.[3] Lydic juga muncul sebagai salah satu pelaku pasangan lesbian dalam satu episode serial Disney Channel berjudul Good Luck Charlie pada tahun 2014. Kehidupan awal

Lydic lahir Louisville, Kentucky. Saat ia masih anak-anak, ia sudah masuk dalam dunia peran lewat Institut Pemeran Muda di Sekolah Penampil Seni Muda dan membintangi iklan Kroger, sebuah perusahaan ritel di Amerika Serikat. Ia lalu pindah ke Los Angeles, California, dan menjadi pemeran improvisasional yang tampil di The Groundlings dan Improv Olympic.[5]

Kehidupan pribadi

Lydic memiliki satu anak laki-laki dari suaminya Gannon Brousseau, bernama Brixton.[6] [7] yang lahir pada akhir Desember 2015.
