Donald Walbridge Shirley (29 Januari 1927 – 6 April 2013) adalah seorang pianis dan komposer jazz dan klasik Amerika. Dia merekam banyak album untuk Cadence Records selama tahun 1950-an dan 1960-an, bereksperimen dengan jazz dengan pengaruh klasik. Dia menulis simfoni organ, konser piano, konserto cello, tiga kuartet senar, opera satu babak, karya untuk organ, piano dan biola, puisi nada simfoni berdasarkan novel tahun 1939 Finnegans Wake oleh James Joyce, dan satu set "Variations" pada opera tahun 1858 Orpheus in the Underworld.

Selama tahun 1960-an, Shirley melakukan sejumlah tur konser, beberapa di negara bagian Deep South. Untuk sementara waktu, dia menyewa pengawal dari New York bernama Tony "Lip" Vallelonga sebagai pengemudi dan pengawalnya.
