Dorothy Hyson, Lady Quayle (nama lahir Dorothy Wardell Heisen; 24 Desember 1914 – 23 Mei 1996) adalah seorang pemeran film dan panggung Amerika Serikat yang kebanyakan berkiprah di Inggris.[1][2] Ia berperan dalam film Soldiers of the King saat masih berusia 19 tahun, sementara ia memulai karier teater profesionalnya dengan tampil dalam drama Ivor Novello, Flies in the Sun.[3] Ia bermain film pada siang hari dan pentas di atas panggung saat malam hari. Walaupun sempat mengalami stres berat setelah berperan dalam film Sing As We Go dan berakting dalam pementasan Touch Wood, ia kemudian menjadi pemeran dalam drama yang mengadaptasi novel Pride and Prejudice pada tahun 1936.[3]
Pada masa Perang Dunia II, ia bekerja sebagai kriptografer di Bletchley Park. Bletchley Park sendiri merupakan tempat rahasia yang memiliki misi memecahkan sandi Jerman Nazi.[4] Hyson merupakan bagian dari regu dua belas orang yang dipimpin oleh Patricia Bartley, dan mereka berupaya memecahkan sandi diplomatik Jerman Floradora.[5]
Ia wafat akibat strok pada 23 Mei 1996, setahun setelah kematian ibundanya yang berusia 102.[6]
