Dudael

Dudael (bahasa Ibrani: דּוּדָאֵל, terdiri dari kata dud דּוּד "ketel", "kawah", "pot" + El אֵל "dewa", "ilah" — artinya "kawah Allah") adalah tempat penahanan bagi Azazel (salah satu malaikat "jatuh"), salah satu kelompok Samyaza. Tempat tersebut disebutkan dalam Kitab Henokh pasal 10 ayat 4–7:

Dudael (bahasa Ibrani: דּוּדָאֵל, dari kata dud דּוּד yang berarti “ketel”, “kawah”, atau “pot”, dan El אֵל yang berarti “Allah” atau “ilah” — sehingga dimaknai sebagai “kawah Allah”) adalah tempat penahanan bagi Azazel, salah satu malaikat yang jatuh (fallen angel) dari kelompok Samyaza. Lokasi ini disebutkan dalam Kitab Henokh pasal 10 ayat 4–7, ketika Tuhan memerintahkan malaikat Rufael untuk membelenggu Azazel dan melemparkannya ke dalam kegelapan di gurun Dudael. Azazel kemudian ditimbun dengan batu-batu kasar dan tajam, diselubungi kegelapan sehingga tidak dapat melihat cahaya, hingga menunggu hari penghakiman besar, ketika ia akan dilemparkan ke dalam api.

Dudael juga ditujukan kepada penjara seluruh malaikat jatuh, khususnya penjaga yang jahat, tempat yang terletak di timur Yerusalem.[1] Sesuai dengan penyebutan tempat tersebut, Duadel sering kali dianggap sebagai tempat dari dunia bawah tanah, mirip dengan Tartarus[2][3] atau Gehenna.[4][5][6]
