Sir Edwyn Hoskyns, Baronet ke-12 (lahir 22 Mei 1851 - mati 2 Desember 1925[1]) adalah seorang Uskup di Gereja Inggris.[2]

Riwayat

Edwyn Hoskyns adalah anak keempat dari Canon John Sir Leigh Hoskyns, 9 Baronet, dan ayah dari Sir Edwyn Clement Hoskyns, 13 Baronet (1884-1937).[2] Ia dididik di Haileybury dan Layanan Imperial College, dan kemudian Yesus College, Cambridge.[2]

Pelayanan

Ia ditahbiskan imam di Gereja Inggris pada tahun 1875 dan pendeta asisten di Welwyn di Hertfordshire 1875-1879 dan Quebec Chapel, London 1879-1881 untuk Canon FJ Belanda.[3]

Dia pun menjadi seorang Vikaris di gereja St Clement, Notting Hill 1880-1886, Rektor St Dunstan, Stepney 1886-1895, Vikaris Bolton Paroki Gereja 1895-1901. Diangkat Suffragan Uskup Burnley pada tahun 1901, ia diangkat menjadi Uskup Southwell pada tahun 1904.[2] Woodcock ditawari tetapi dia dengan tegas menolak posisi Uskup Agung Cape Town pada tahun 1908, dia tetap uskup Southwell sampai kematiannya pada tahun 1925.[2]
