Elgin Gay Baylor (16 September 1934 – 22 Maret 2021)[1][2] adalah seorang mantan pemain basket Amerika Serikat yang bermain 13 musim sebagai small forward di NBA di tim Minneapolis Lakers/Los Angeles Lakers. Baylor baru saja menyelesaikan tugasnya sebagai Manajer Utama untuk Los Angeles Clippers setelah 22 tahun dengan tim tersebut. Baylor adalah seorang penembak bola berbakat, seorang perebut bola yang kuat, dan pengumpan yang sukses. Dikenal dengan kemampuan akrobatiknya di lapangan, Baylor sering kali membuat penggemarnya di Lakers fans dengan mempertontonkan ciri khasnya yaitu melakukan hanging atau Jump shot. Ia dianugerahi sebagai salah satu pemain terbesar di kompetisi ini[1]
