Elhanan bin Dodo

Elhanan adalah putra dari Dodo (2 Samuel 23:24, 1 Tawarikh 11:26). Ia adalah anggota pejuang elit Daud.

Tafsiran

Beberapa orang seperti Moshe Garsiel[1] meyakini bahwa ia adalah orang yang sama dengan Elhanan yang disebutkan dalam 2 Samuel 21:19 dan 1 Tawarikh 20:5, putra Yaare-Oregim dari Betlehem, dan bahwa Alkitab menyebutnya sebagai pembunuh Goliat. Garsiel menyatakan "bahwa Elhanan adalah nama Daud sebelum ia menjadi raja."[2]
