Emma Francesca Sidi (/ˈsɪdiː/,[1] lahir 5 Februari 1991[2]) adalah seorang aktris dan komedian asal Inggris.[3]
Kehidupan awal
Sidi lahir dari orang tua asal Inggris di Amerika Serikat. Nama keluarganya berarti "tuan" dalam bahasa Arab, dan berasal dari kakeknya yang beragama Yahudi. Ayahnya, Paul, bekerja di bidang perbankan dan bermain rugby union untuk Harlequins.[4] Keluarga tersebut kembali ke Inggris ketika Sidi berusia tiga tahun dan, setelah berkarir di City, ayahnya menjalani pelatihan ulang sebagai fisioterapis di Chertsey, Surrey. Sidi bersekolah di SMA Guildford, sebuah sekolah swasta khusus perempuan di Guildford, sebelum belajar bahasa Prancis dan Spanyol di Emmanuel College, Cambridge, yang termasuk belajar di luar negeri di Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Meksiko.[4]
Kehidupan pribadi
Sidi adalah anggota Cambridge Footlights.[5] Ia menikah dengan aktor dan komedian Al Roberts, yang juga merupakan suaminya di layar kaca dalam serial TV Starstruck.[6][7] Mereka memiliki seorang putra yang lahir pada tahun 2025.[8]
