Eretria (/[invalid input: 'icon']əˈriːtriə/; bahasa Yunani: Ερέτρια, Eretria, secara harfiah bermakna "kota para pendayung") adalah sebuah polis di Yunani kuno, terletak di pesisir barat pulau Euboia, sebelah selatan Khalkis, menghadap pesisir Attika di seberang Teluk Euboia yang sempit. Eretria adalah polis Yunani yang penting pada abad ke-6 SM. Penggalian kota ini dimulai pada tahun 1890-an dan dilakukan hingga 1964 oleh Layanan Arkeologi Yunani (Keeforan Antikuitas ke-11) dan Sekolah Arkeologi Swiss di Yunani.[2] Pada masa kini, ada kota Yunani modern di tempat kota kunonya dulu berdiri.[butuh rujukan]
