Eutikianisme

Eutikianisme adalah sebuah ajaran yang mengajarkan bahwa Yesus Kristus hanya mempunyai satu kodrat, yaitu kodrat ke-Allahan. Paus Leo I mengeluarkan ajaran yang kemudian dikenal dengan sebutan The Tome of Leo.[1] Untuk melawan ajaran tersebut, konsili Kalsedon diadakan pada tahun 451. Konsili tersebut mengambil keputusan tegas untuk meyingkirkan semua ajaran yang dianggap sesat dan menegaskan kembali iman yang benar.[2]
