Finery forge

Finery forge adalah sebuah penempaan yang dipakai untuk memproduksi besi tempa dari besi babi lewat dekarburisasi. Proses tersebut melibatkan pencairan besi besi tuang dalam alat pemanas dan menghilangkan karbon dari besi tuang yang dicairkan melalui oksidasi.[1] Finery forge dipakai sejak awal abad ke-3 SM, berdasarkan pada bukti arkeologi yang ditemukan di Tieshengguo, Tiongkok.[1]
