Karya Talenti pada Campanile (menara lonceng): dua lantai tengah dan poros menara atas

Francesco Talenti (sekitar 1300 – setelah 1369) adalah seorang arsitek dan pematung Tuscan yang bekerja terutama di Florence setelah 1351. Ia disebut-sebut bekerja di Katedral Orvieto pada 1325. Pada 1350-an ia menyelesaikan dua lantai tengah Giotto's Campanile, dan dua pintu: Porta dei Cornacchini dan Porta del Campanile, masing-masing di sisi utara dan selatan Duomo (istilah Italia yang berarti Gereja) Katedral Firenze. Pada 1351 ia mengambil alih dari Andrea Pisano sebagai direktur pembangunan katedral. Kubah katedral yang terkenal itu pertama kali disebutkan pada tahun 1357, tetapi terjadi perbedaan pendapat apakah Talenti juga bertanggung jawab atas inklusi tersebut atau tidak. Talenti memperbesar strukturnya dengan mendesain ulang apse dan memperpanjang nave, menjadikan gereja yang terbesar yang pernah dibangun di Eropa sejauh ini.
