Karier

Karier Frederick Knight bermula pada tahun 1972. Pada tahun itu, Frederick melakukan rekaman dengan Capitol Records dan Mercury Records di New York sebelum menandatangani kontrak dengan Stax Records pada tahun 1972. Dia memiliki satu-satunya single andalan di Inggris, "I've Been Lonely for So Long," pada tahun 1972.[2] Lagu itu berada di tangga lagu selama 10 pekan dan mencapai posisi ke-22.[3] Kurangnya aktivitas tangga lagu seterusnya membuat Frederick dicap sebagai seorang one-hit wonder.
