Fyord Adams


Fyord Adams, juga dikenal dengan nama Bukhta Semerka, Bukhta Semyorka atau Seven Bay, adalah sebuah fyord sepanjang 13 mil (21 km) di timur laut Teluk Amundsen, tepat di selatan Gunung Riiser-Larsen. Fyord ini sempat difoto dan dipetakan oleh pesawat ANARE (Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions) pada tahun 1956. Sekelompok penjelajah ANARE yang dipimpin Phillip Law memasuki fyord menggunakan kendaraan motor dari Thala Dan tanggal 14 Februari 1958 dan mendarat di kaki Gunung Riiser-Larsen. Fyord ini diberi nama oleh ANCA sesuai Ian L. Adams, Officer-in-Charge di Mawson Station pada tahun 1958.
