GRE
Graduate Record Examination atau GRE adalah sebuah tes standar yang diambil agar dapat masuk ke sekolah graduate di Amerika Serikat. Dia mirip dengan SAT. Keduanya diadminister oleh Educational Testing Service dan memiliki pertanyaan dengan format yang serupa, meskipun GRE dirancang oleh Papan Kolese dan ditujukan untuk tingkat pendidikan yang berbeda.

Banyak sekolah graduate di negara bicara-Inggris (terutama di AS) membutuhkan hasil tes GRE sebagai bagian dari prosedur pendaftaran. Tes GRE adalah tes standar dirancang untuk mengukur kemampuan seluruh lulusan dalam akademi alam umum, tidak melihat bidang atau pengkhususan mereka.
GRE bukan tes kepandaian "per-se" tetapi hasil GRE, terutama dalam bagian verbal, berhubungan dengan hasil tes kepandaian. GRE diharapkan untuk mengukur pendidikan undergraduate telah berkembang dalam setiap individu dan kemampuan dalam berpikir abstrak. GRE juga mengetes dalam kemampuan berargumentasi dalam topik umum.
