Gadis ring
Gadis ring adalah seorang wanita yang masuk ring di tengah-rengah putaran olahraga tarung, membawa sebuah tanda yang berisi nomor putaran berikutnya. Gadis ring sering tampak dalam tinju, kickboxing dan seni bela diri campuran.
Riwayat
Gadis ring mula-mula muncul dalam edisi tahun 1965 Ring Magazine. Majalah tersebut menampilkan foto seorang model Las Vegas membawa sebuah tanda di sebuah lomba tinju. Promosi-promosi tinju mengadaptasi konsep gadis ring dalam acara-acara mereka.[1]
