Gamis

Orang Arab menggunakan Tsaub di Salalah, Oman.

Gamis merupakan sejenis baju kurung yang dominan digunakan di Timur Tengah dan negara-negara Islam. Baju ini di Arab disebut dengan Tsaub (bahasa Arab: ثَوب / tsawb), disydasya (دِشداشَة / disydāsyah), kandurah (كَندورَة / kandūrah), juga qamis (bahasa Somali: قميص / qamīs) di Somalia.[1] Istilah Gamis berasal dari kata Qamis. Bentuknya berupa baju kurung sepanjang mata kaki, umumnya dengan lengan panjang, serupa dengan Jubah, Kaftan atau Tunik. Gamis sering kali dipadukan dengan Izaar (sarung) atau Bantholun(celana pantalon) di bagian dalamnya. Kadang digunakan bersama Bisyt (mantel) berwarna gelap.[2]
