Gamma Canis Majoris (γ CMa / γ Canis Majoris) adalah salah satu bintang pada rasi bintang Canis Major. γ Canis Majoris adalah bintang raksasa biru keputihan tipe B (blue-white B-type bright giant) dengan magnitudo tampak +4,10.[2] Bintang ini berada pada jarak 440 tahun cahaya dari Bumi.

Etimologi

Bintang ini memiliki nama tradisional Muliphein, berasal kata sama dengan Muhlifain(Gamma Centauri), dari bahasa Arab, محلفين muħlifayn. Nama lain dari para astronom terdahulu adalah:
