General Electric T64
General Electric T64 adalah mesin poros turbo bebas turbin yang dikembangkan untuk digunakan pada helikopter. General Electric memperkenalkan mesin pada tahun 1964. Desain mesin asli termasuk inovasi teknis seperti tahan korosi dan coating suhu tinggi. Mesin ini memiliki rasio tekanan tinggi, menghasilkan konsumsi bahan bakar spesifik yang rendah.
Kemudian versi mesin produksi dari 3.925 sampai 4.750 shp (2.927 sampai 3.542 kW).
Mesin ini dirancang untuk mengakomodasi gearbox yang berbeda, atau poros penggerak untuk helikopter atau aplikasi turboprop sayap tetap. Mesin dapat dioperasikan antara 100 derajat ke atas dan 45 derajat ke bawah untuk STOL atau aplikasi helikopter.
Daya listrik maksimal yang mampu dihasilkan oleh General Electric T64 sebesar 4,330 daya kuda atau setara dengan 3,228.8 kiloWatt.
