Generator arus pasang surut

Generator arus pasang surut, sering disebut sebagai konverter energi pasang surut, adalah sebuah mesin yang menyarikan energi dari pergerakan massa air, terutama pasang surut, meskipun istilah tersebut sering dipakai dalam merujuk kepada masin-masin yang dirancang untuk menyarikan energi dari arus sungai atau tempat pasang surut. Jenis mesin tertentu lebih berfungsi seperti turbin angin bawah laut, dan sehingga sering disebut sebagai turbin pasang surut. Alat tersebut pertama kali dibuat pada 1970an saat krisis minyak.[1]
